The rehabilitation services provided by V-Excel occurs in all age groups. However, the nature, intensity and goals of rehabilitation often differ by age. Occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) are two crucial aspects of rehabilitation services. These specialist fields work to treat and overcome any disability caused by injury or disease.

Occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Common occupational therapy interventions include helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes. Occupational therapy services typically include: An individualized evaluation, during which the client/family and occupational therapist determine the person’s goals Customized intervention to improve the person’s ability to perform daily activities and reach the goals, and An outcomes evaluation to ensure that the goals are being met and/or make changes to the intervention plan. Occupational therapy services may include comprehensive evaluations of the client’s home and other environments

Many conditions, including cerebral palsy, autism, hearing loss, developmental delays, may cause difficulty with speech and language development. Some children may not understand language. Some children may understand language but be unable to communicate effectively due to difficulty with speech.  Sometimes children experience challenges in other areas of communication, such as hand gestures and facial expressions. Speech therapy is a clinical program aimed at improving speech and language skills and oral motor abilities. Children who are able to talk may work on making their speech clearer, or on building their language skills by learning new words, learning to speak in sentences, or improving their listening skills.

Special Education is that component of education which employs special instructional methodology (Remedial Instruction), instructional materials, learning-teaching aids and equipment to meet educational needs of children with specific learning disabilities. Remedial instruction or Remediation aims at improving a skill or ability in a student. Techniques for remedial instruction may include providing more practice or more explanation, repeating information, and devoting more time to working on the skill. For example, a student having a low reading level could be given remediation via one-on-one reading instruction, phonic instruction, or practice in reading aloud.

Yoga has shown tremendous effect on children with special needs, if included in their routine on a regular basis. Many researchers have clearly shown and proven the benefits of therapeutic use of yoga on children with special needs. Yoga can be included as an alternative therapy along with the general therapy. As mentioned above each child is a unique case and the instructor should also address the child’s needs in the same line, make a specialised programme for each child and conduct it regularly, continuously.

We believes in the holistic development of the children at school and has initiated Music therapy into the curriculum. Music is vital to every child's social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical development. It helps to make the learning process more concrete for those who have verbal communication difficult. Music therapy helps children use play to communicate at their own level and at their own pace, without feeling interrogated or threatened.

No matter which age group the children belong to, a 'quiet time' half-way through a session gives them opportunities to reflect on what the dancing means to them and to try out other ways of performing the movements they have learned during the mini-disco. Older groups may bring up issues which are specially important to them and these can be worked out in dance form. This is a time also for introducing related art forms – listening to music, poetry, drama, storytelling, designing costumes, scenery – all helping children discover who they are, what they can do, and directing their energies in a positive way.
